The last two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had some pretty key moments for Inhuman teammates Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Lincoln (Luke Mitchell).
First, Jemma discovered a possible cure for the Inhuman virus — something that freezes or reverses the transition of a person affected by terrigenesis. Then, Daisy and Lincoln argued about the possible use of the cure. Lincoln thinks it could be used for those Inhumans who don’t actually want to undergo the transformation, while Daisy considers being Inhuman a kind of inevitability — something that can’t (or shouldn’t) be cured.
That argument ended with Daisy sort-of apologizing and Daisy and Lincoln having sex.
Speaking at WonderCon, Chloe and Luke brushed off the argument as simply unresolved sexual tension. Luke suggested that Lincoln might start arguments more often in order to bring about the desired outcome.
The two also teased that the possibility of an Inhuman cure would indeed become a big part of the season. (Here’s a theory we’ve considered at SuperFable: The cure will be used to save Dr. Andrew Garner before he completes his transformation as Lash.)
Regarding the impending revelation of the Inhuman villain Hive inhabiting Grant Ward’s body: Chloe Bennet says, when that happens things are gonna get ‘pretty f–ked up’ for S.H.I.E.L.D.
