Seeing Team Arrow and Team Flash interact has been one of the great benefits of having two DC superhero shows on the same network. Now a third show, Legends of Tomorrow, is being added to the mix.
So, how often will we see characters from Legends appear on Arrow or Flash, or vice-versa?
Speaking at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Sunday, executive producer Greg Berlanti said the crossover potential for Legends of Tomorrow with Flash and Arrow is “intermittent throughout.” He added, “Because they’re a band of time traveling rogues, it’s harder for Arrow and Flash to be connected story wise to [Legends of Tomorrow] throughout the season. That being said, if you know the histories of Arrow and Flash, it should be extra fun in its own way as we delve deeper and deeper into the characters lives.”
It has previously been revealed that Flash and Arrow characters, Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), and Malcolm Merlyn (Matt Nable), will all appear on Legends of Tomorrow.
Executive producer Phil Klemmer previously told EW that there’s a “100-percent chance” that older and/or younger versions of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) will appear on the new show. He said, “We will have a couple marked crossover moments that hopefully will keep people satisfied.”
Legends of Tomorrow will debut on January 21, 2016, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.SuperFable
