SPOILER WARNING if you haven’t seen Captain America: Civil War: The fate of the Winter Soldier is revealed below.
Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier) thinks it would be natural for his character to show up in the solo Black Panther movie.
Seeing that at the end of Captain America: Civil War Barnes was in stasis under the authority of the Wakandans, it does appear to be possible that he could play a role.
Speaking at Wizard World in Philadelphia, Stan said (despite warnings from Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie): “I don’t know, man. I mean, there’s obviously a very clear answer but I’m not maybe [going to] say it, now. Where did [Bucky] end up at the end of the movie? That’s the movie he should be in.” He added, “I feel like that would be the natural… But I don’t know.”
