Stephen Amell says Arrow is ‘Missing Something’ Without Deathstroke

Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) as Deathstroke

Slade Wilson (aka Deathstroke) has been gone from Arrow for two seasons now, but Stephen Amell thinks the show may have been better with him in it.

Actor Manu Bennett portrayed the popular DC Comics mercenary. In season 1’s flashbacks, he trained Oliver Queen (Amell) on the island of Lian Yu; their plan was to escape together. In season 2, Wilson became the show’s primary villain, Deathstroke, as he sought revenge for the death of Shado which he blamed on Oliver. Bennett reprised the role for one episode in season 3.

Speaking at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey, Stephen Amell said, “Manu played a great character. And I really honestly think that Arrow has been missing something since he hasn’t been around. I really do. He was a transformative villain. I would really love it if Deathstroke could keep being a part of the Arrow universe.”

Manu Bennett is currently starring as Allanon on MTV’s The Shannara Chronicles.SuperFable
