At the end of last week’s episode of The Flash, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) set off a mini particle accelerator explosion in a bid to give Barry his speed back.
It didn’t work so well (we presume), and Barry vanished.
No one else in the room was affected by the explosion, but unbeknownst to them, Jesse and Wally West had just broken out of their prison. As they went to find the rest of the crew, they got smacked and smothered by the speeding Barry-matter that had resulted from the particle accelerator.
In the clip below, from tonight’s Kevin Smith-directed episode of The Flash, Harry and Joe find their respective offspring knocked out on the floor in a Star Labs hallway. Wally wakes up quickly, but Jesse doesn’t and Harry says her heart has stopped.
Does this mean that Jesse will become a speedster and Wally won’t (for now anyway)? Or vice-versa?
